The International Greyhound Services team head to Romford stadium on Thursday 17th July 2025 for their ‘Summer Sale’ and it looks like being another hugely exciting and successful day. Many top-class performers have been sold at the Romford sales in recent times including Yahoo Maizy who was sold for just £4000 at the corresponding sale last year and subsequently went on to land the category one Puppy Oaks at Towcester for trainer Maxine Locke and owners the JR Racing Syndicate. Worth £10,000 to the winner it was a huge success for what proved to be an extremely astute purchase. Vendor of Yahoo Maizy was Shane O’Gorman who regularly provides high class greyhounds to both the UK and Irish markets and Shane is well represented once again at this years sale. Gates will open to patrons at 11am with trials set to commence at noon. Food and drink facilities will be available throughout the day for those in attendance and as usual online bidding will be available. STONEPARK SUSIE – Not a mark on the card of this May 2024 daughter of Dromana Bucko and Ballyverry Sarah who competed in open class on the track with a 2857 win on the card around Tralee. Since retiring to the breeding paddocks Sarah has passed on plenty of her pace to her pups counting the likes of Antigua Kestrel who has won multiple opens over both four and six bends amongst her offspring. Extremely promising youngster who has been showing great promise at home. Susie is a half sister to Bramble Shelby (ex – Stoneparkmalachi) who was sold at a Towcester sale for a bargain £2250 and has been showcasing plenty of pace around Newcastle recently with an A2 victory on the card in 2844.
STONEPARK SHINE – Not a mark on the card of this February 2024 daughter of Ballyhimikin Jet and Affane Beauty who is a well proven producer of high grade and open class offspring. Totally unexposed and arrives at the Romford sale in top shape having been reared and schooled with no expense spared.
CHINKOFNIGHT – Just the sole trial currently on the card of this January 2024 daughter of Mustang Jet and Cooladerry Jewel who reached open class on the track and has produced some pacey sorts in her first two litters. Clocked 3015 in that aforementioned trial at Clonmel but encountered plenty of trouble and looks likely to move swiftly through the grades here in the UK for new connections.
MUSTANG ROCKET – Lightly raced July 2023 son of Ballyhimikin Jet out of Mustang Kay Cee who has produced plenty of high class sorts but maybe most notably the hugely pacey open racing star Mustang Jet. Rocket himself has displayed a huge amount of pace in his races to date and is already a two time race winner on Irish soil including a super 2115 victory around Dundalk on his last start. Looks tailor made for the likes of sales venue Romford where he will no doubt be making his presence felt in top open class company.
MIAMI MISSION – Unraced August 2023 son of Ballymac Cashout out of Coolavanny Ally. Litter mates are high grade types with plenty pace and Mission is expected to make into similar class having already posted a decent 1902 when winning a trial around Enniscorthy recently.
MIAMI EAGLE – Unraced October 2023 son of Dorotas Wildcat and Coolavanny Nanni who was an open class winner on the track and being a daughter of super brood Yahoo Perlena counts many high class competition sorts amongst her relations including full brother Coolavanny Shado the sensational 2023 Monmore Winter Derby Champion and one of the fastest open race greyhounds in recent years.
RAPIDO SPY – Unraced April 2024 bitch by Grangeview Ten out of Chelms Ramona a 2849 race winner on the track around Waterford who reached the final of the Munster Oaks around the same venue. Nice type with plenty left in the locker for new connections to work with.

SPORTING WOLF – Unraced January 2024 son of Grangeview Ten out of Ballymac Saga the 2019 English Oaks finalist and proven producer of open class offspring. Given plenty of time to mature into his 82lb frame Wolf showed plenty of potential in what is so far the only trial on his card running out a wide margin winner around Tralee in 2943.
SPORTING RACKET – Full unraced brother to Wolf detailed above. Has been showcasing plenty on the home gallops and hailing from the Jerry Griffin set up will arrive with new connections in top class shape.
EPIC COMMAND – Not a mark on the card of this April 2024 son of Good Cody out of Portumna Marina an unraced lady hailing from the fabulous brood Portumna West dam of many top class sorts. Marina herself is now well proven counting the likes of Dynamic Force amongst her offspring who set the track alight during the recent English Derby at Towcester before sadly going wrong in his semi final where he was a well fancied second favourite to Bockos Diamond. Will arrive in top shape from the Kennedy team and a huge run on the day expected.
GOOD CHLOE – Full sister to Epic Command and has been showcasing great potential back home at the Kennedy establishment. Track and brood prospects from the top drawer so bound to attract plenty of attention.
MISS MONACO – Lightly raced July 2023 bitch who came from behind to win a low grade Waterford race on her last start in 2995 and has since posted 2943 in a trial around Cork. Will pay her way on the UK graded scene.
AGHADOWN MIST – Just the two trial on the card of this July 2023 daughter of Good Cody and the 2957 posted around Cork in the last of those suggest she has reasonable ability. Should pay her way for any graded kennel here in the UK.
YAHOO MAEVE – Not a mark on the card of this totally unexposed May 2024 daughter of Koblenz and Yahoo Diva who is a well proven producer of top open and competition class performers including Yahoo Maizy the 2024 English Puppy Oaks Champion who was sold for £4000 at the corresponding Romford sale last year. Hugely promising sort from the Shane O’Gorman set up and anybody who knows anything about greyhound racing will realise that means young greyhounds who are bred and reared for class with many going on to land major competitions on both sides of the Irish sea. Stud dog Koblenz made his name as a superstar on the track in Australia for top trainer David Geall and is quickly establishing himself as a stud dog of some repute in Australia whilst his initial pups here in the UK and Ireland are pleasing connections.
VIOLET FREYA – Not a mark on the card of this April 2024 daughter of Droopys Got It and Yahoo Luna who is a full sister to Radical Hero who reached the final of the National Produce Stakes back in 2022. Got It was hugely pacey on the track finishing runner up in the 2022 Juvenile Derby at Shelbourne Park in behind Clona Duke. Another from the Shane O’Gorman camp and reports have been pleasing to date.
DA LITTLE ONE – Not a mark on the card of this February 2024 bitch by Droopys Flytline out of Up The Style who memorably landed the IGOBF National Puppy Stake at Shelbourne Park in 2022 in a flying 2829. That run was no fluke as she had other efforts right out the top drawer including 2817 around Newbridge in what was just the third race of her life. Up The Style is a daughter of Unlock Unlock so the breeding is there for all to see , quite simply you will go along way to find better blood lines meaning that Da Little One is not only a top class track prospect but also a potentially top class brood of the future. Da Little One has been flying the lids and showing super early pace in her schooling trials and as such Romford is expected to fully play to her strengths. Bred by and reared by Alan Dobbs this young lady has wanted for nothing.
TAKE YOUR TEA – Unraced March 2024 bitch by Coolavanny Hoffa out of Newinn Peaches an unraced half sister to 2020 Irish Greyhound Derby Champion Newinn Taylor. Reports from back home suggest that this young lady doesn’t fall into open class potential but has every chance of going through the grades here in the UK.
EASY ANNA – Unraced April 2024 daughter of Pestana out of Nemesis an open class winner on the track who reached the final of the Irish Oaks back in 2020. Now well proven in the breeding paddocks as a producer of pups with huge open class pace this young lady has been showing the Barry Rocks team all the right signs back home and no surprise to see her going very well on sales day.
FACES AND PLACES – April 2024 son of Ballymac Anton out of Ballymac Notoyou who was open class on the track in her own right and has been producing plenty of pacey open class pups in her litters to date. Lightly schooled and plenty of improvement to come this youngster should be moving through the graded system here in the UK with ease and no saying quite how far he’ll go.
DROOPYS TIFFANY – March 2024 bitch pup from the Droopys team who will arrive with new connections without a mark on the card. A daughter of Newinn Session out of Droopys Thelma who produces open class time after time. Exciting prospect and can only improve for experience over the coming year.
DROOPYS FLOORISH – Another from the Droopys team this time an unraced March 2024 daughter of Malachi out of Droopys Cuckoo who is a hugely well proven producer of open and competition class performers. A pup of immense promise with this type of breeding will not come cheaply but class never does and with so much untapped potential both for the track and future breeding this lady will be in no short supply of admirers.
DUNBOLG MOON – Unraced November 2023 daughter of Explosive Boy out of Where Am I an open class performer on the track whose maiden litter to Magical Bale produced some high grade winners. Sales day trial will be of interest.

AMAZING DASH – Super unraced January 2024 dog pup by Serene Ace out of Flaming Sahara who reached open class on the track in her own right and has been producing open class pups regularly including the super and multiple UK four and six bend open race star Miss Syd. Plenty of pace and ability being shown back home with the Kennedy team and will be in huge demand of that there is little doubt.
GOOD JASMINE – Full sister to Amazing Dash and likewise has been showing huge promise back home and expected to showcase her talents come sales day at Romford.
SPORTING THEO – Unraced January 2024 dog pup from the litter of Grangeview Ten and Ballymac Saga the 2019 English Oaks finalist and proven producer of open class offspring. Has been pleasing at home on the gallops and in schooling trials but sales day trial will be informative on this lads prospects.
HEARTS ABOVE – July 2023 bitch by Toker Forest who has shown a very moderate level of form in her six career races to date. One for the graded scene.
ROMANTIC ROMEO (EX – CRAFTY RAPIDO) – January 2024 son of Illnotbeback the Cork track record holder. Posted 2912 around Cork recently when winning what was just the second race of his life marking him out as a pup of great potential. Nice touch of early pace will serve him well and sure to attract plenty of attention come sales day.
DARK ROSA – July 2023 bitch who was very much in need of the experience in her initial three races but has taken huge steps forward in recent trials culminating in a 2940 around Cork just a few days ago. Needed time to come into her own that looks certain but looks certain to become a decent type for the graded scene now she’s received plenty of extra education that can only serve her and new connections well.
YAHOO ELSIE – Not a mark on the card of this April 2024 bitch from the Shane O’Gorman academy. The O’Gorman set up are famed for providing top class greyhounds to both the UK and Ireland with many of their offspring reading like a who’s who of greyhound racing royalty. Elsie is a daughter of Droopys Got It and Yahoo Luna who in her first litter produced the exciting Newinn Noddy who recently landed a maiden open down at Hove. Elsie has been showing good pace at home and though she’s expected to go well on sales day she most certainly has many months of improvement left in the locker.
YAHOO CLEO – April 2024 daughter of the exciting Australian stud dog Koblenz out of Yahoo Diva who is a well proven producer of top open and competition class performers including Yahoo Maizy the 2024 English Puppy Oaks Champion who was sold for £4000 at the corresponding Romford sale last year. Another top class prospect sent over to the sale by Shane O’Gorman this young lady has her whole career ahead of her and isn’t just one for the short and medium term as a high class track prospect but undoubtedly will attract the attention of all those with a keen eye on breeding later in life. A gem of a pup reared and schooled perfectly who will be in high demand come sales day at Romford.
TOMMYS STEAMER – Unraced January 2024 son of Iconic Rory out of Painters Cabbage who is an unraced half sister to the superstar sprinter Flashing Willow. Bred to be pacey and showcased plenty of early zip when winning a two dog sprint trial at Limerick recently in 1932.
TOMMYS CUTIE – Unraced February 2024 daughter of Bull Run Bolt and Liscanny Skippy a full sister to 2018 Eclipse Finalist Dower Rory. Maiden litter to Grangeview Ten contained some decent high grade types but reports from back home have held this second litter in much higher esteem for quite some time now. Middle to wide running sort who has two decent initial trial efforts on the card around Limerick.
DUNBOLG STREAM – Unraced November 2023 daughter of Exposive Boy out of Where Am I a top grade / open class performer who produced high grades in her maiden litter to Magical Bale. Not too much to go off so sales day trial is a must watch.
RATHSILLA REGGIE – Lightly raced February 2023 son of Ballymac Cashout who has shown a moderate level of form in a handful of career races to date but has shown signs that there are races to be won with him. Likely to improve massively for a fresh start to his graded career here in the UK.
FEELING THE LOVE – Top class open race / competition class prospect by Grangeview Ten out of the well proven competition class producing dam Oi Oi Upenalty. Make no mistake at all this youngster is destined a career in against the very best greyhounds here in the UK and will line up in all the major puppy competitions in the coming months. Just the sole trial currently on his card which came at Shelbourne when showcasing huge pace in against his sole rival to record an ever extending 15 length success in 1902. There will be many seeking to be adding this quality youngster to their kennels come the end of sales day but only one lucky set of connections will be able to do so. One not to be missed that is for sure.
GOTTHECHAT – Unraced March 2024 daughter of Coolavanny Hoffa out of Newinn Peaches an unraced half sister to 2020 Irish Greyhound Derby Champion Newinn Taylor. Looks set for a tough trial in against one of the most talked about youngsters currently around in the shape of Feeling The Love but herself looks set to go on and enjoy a very decent career here in the UK. Will be interesting to see just how close she can get to Feeling The Love given the esteem that one is held in.
MUSTANG MANIA – Lightly raced July 2023 bitch by Ballyhimikin Jet out of Mustang Kay Cee who has produced plenty of high class sorts but maybe most notably the hugely pacey open racing star Mustang Jet. Will have learned a great deal from her initial three career races and initial 2956 recorded on debut at Clonmel does suggest there is ability in there.
JEWELOFTHENILE – Unraced January 2024 bitch by Mustang Jet out of Cooladerry Jewel a top grade / open class performer from the famed Droopys Berry dam line. Posted 2959 in the very first and thus far only trial of her life around Clonmel. Jewell has produced some nice high grade and open class types and Jewelofthenile has the potential to progress into similar.
EASY LEGEND – Unraced February 2024 prospect from the Barry Rocks team. A son of Ballymac Cashout out of Jumeirah Liberty the super early paced UK open racing star. Easy Legend has been the talk of the town recently posting a sensational 1784 around Drumbo Park in just the second trial of his life. If you want pace and power and a greyhound who should be ideally suited to the challenges faced at the likes of sales venue Romford then this lad is for you. Unraced competition class prospects like this don’t come cheaply do deep pockets will be needed but if you want to add a young greyhound to your team who will be capable of taking on and beating the best around then you will certainly be interested in this one.
RATHRONAN ANA – November 2023 son of Pestana who won on debut and what is so far the only race of his life in 1837 at Tralee. Pacey sort who should progress nicely through the grades here in the UK.
DROOPYS VERDICT – Super prospect from the Droopys team this unraced March 2024 son of Droopys Flytline and Noirs Lottie has really been taking the eye in recent schooling trials. Noirs Lottie is the dam of 2024 Champion Stakes runner up Noirs News who Romford regulars and indeed many around the country will know well. Highly rated youngster who is sure to be in high demand.
DROOPYS BAFTA – Wonderfully well bred March 2024 son of Malachi out of super brood Droopys Cuckoo. Pups like this don’t come cheaply but the breeding , the connections and the potential is there for all to see. The name Droopys signifies class and this is another destinted for big things here in the UK.
BANBAS ALL STAR – Lightly raced September 2023 son of Ballymac Cashout and Pennys Baccata who competed in open class herself and counts Lookandlep the Kilkenny Champion Unraced runner up from earlier this year amongst her offspring. Lookandlep of cause being a full brother to All Star who himself has shown a degree of promise albeit that he looks likely to pay his way on the graded scene rather than the open sphere of his sibling. That said there looks sure to be a nice touch or two landed along the way with a young greyhound who has plenty of improvement left in the locker.
KEVINSFORT HOMER – April 2023 son of Malachi who is already a two time race winner in Ireland with super early paced wins of 2908 and 2901 on the card at Limerick. Sure to be suited by the shorter four bend course at sales venue Romford and looks set to compete at a decent level if kept there by connections looking for an experienced type who can land the money early on.
BRISBANE – November 2023 son of Lenson Bocko who got his career up and running at just the second time of asking recently with a super 2926 win at Waterford. Nice type sure to compete at a decent level.
RAPIDO ROSIN – Unraced April 2024 son of Grangeview Ten and a 2849 race winner on the track around Waterford who reached the final of the Munster Oaks around the same venue. Has been showing good pace at home and will arrive with new connections well reared and schooled and ready to move through the grades.
MIAMI YEATS (EX – HIGHVIEW YEATS) – Proven high grade sort with multiple low 29 second runs on the card at Shelbourne including a race winning 2904. Ready to get straight into action here in the UK and will compete and win at a decent level at which ever track he ends up.
SOLANA JET – Unraced November 2023 son of Ballyhimikin Jet who won the second trial of his life by a wide margin recently at Enniscorthy in 2964. Nice sort who will be winning plenty here in the UK.

GOOD BERRY – April 2024 son of Good Cody and Ballymac Berry who reached the Angel Of The North Final back in 2020 and is now a proven producer of open class offspring.
GOOD CRAFTY – Unraced January 2024 daughter of Good Cody out of Cockyorconfident who amongst many other top class offspring is the dam of superstar Crafty Kokoro. Hugely promising youngster for both the track and later in life the breeding paddocks.
LETTER OF LAW – Unraced April 2024 dog pup from the Ballymac Anton and Ballymac Notoyou litter. Reared and schooled perfectly by the Sean Conway team this is a youngster to keep a close eye on.
LIKE MAGIC – Unraced April 2024 bitch from the Ballymac Anton litter to Ballymac Notoyou. Sole trial on the card at Shelbourne Park highly likely to be left way behind in the coming weeks.
MONBEG BELLA – Lightly raced September 2023 daughter of Deerjet Sydney who is yet to win in three career starts but has a 2918 on the card at Enniscorthy so the ability is definitely there.
RAPIDO DESIGN – Unraced April 2024 member of the Grangeview Ten and Chelms Ramona litter. Well reared and schooled and will be winning more than his fair share here in the UK.
RAPIDO IVY – Full sister to Design detailed above. Not much between this litter and plenty to be won with this young lady.
