The International Greyhound Services Limited team head to Monmore stadium on Friday 14th November for the final track sale of 2025. One of the most popular sales of the year the track at Monmore gives the young greyhounds every chance to advertise their full potential and that is a huge attraction to all those in attendance at the track and indeed watching and bidding from home. As usual there is a good collection of unraced and lightly raced youngsters on offer from some of the leading breeding operations in the sport. Trials will be set to begin at around 1030am on the day with the sales auction set to begin approximately 30 minutes after completion of the final trial. Food and drink facilities will be available throughout the day so don’t miss out on what will be your final opportunity to purchase a promising youngster from our ever popular track sales this year.

HAWKFIELD CREED – unraced May 2024 son of Ballyhimikin Jet and from the maiden litter of Hawkfield Mia a regular winner on the open class scene here in the UK and Ireland. Mia is a full sister to the sensational Hawkfield Ozark winner of the Bar One Racing Irish Sprint Cup Final in 2022 at Dundalk and the Arena Racing Company Laurels at Perry Barr in 2023. Creed has just the two trials on his card and ran out a super 7 ½ length winner in 1804 at Newbridge, a run which very much marks him out as an above average type. Could be anything and one that will definitely be on the potential buy lists of many shrewd judges.
NEWINN ARCHIE – August 2023 son of Coolavanny Hoffa out of Newinn Lisa a daughter of the well proven competition class producing dam Coolavanny Pearl. Lisa herself is a proven producer of open class being responsible for the likes of Untold Ariary who won in maiden open class at Oxford on her career debut earlier and more recently added a maiden 590m event to her cv at Pelaw Grange. Archie has four races under his belt and has ran out a winner of three of those all coming around Kilkenny. Solid middle to wide running sort who will see out any four bend trip in the UK and is a ready made high grade sort with a terrific attitude to his racing.
DEELISH LOLA – this June 2024 daughter of Koblenz and Ballymac Aurora who is a daughter of the competition class producing dam Ballymac Belle and counts the likes of 2021 Irish St Leger Champion Ballymac Merlin and Longacres Bullet the multiple UK and Ireland open race winner and runner up in the Juvenile Classic of 2021 amongst her litter mates. Lovely breeding and with her whole career ahead of her and with obvious potential brood prospects Lola will appeal to many. Just the sole trial on her card when winning a 525 trial beating Deelish Honey by 5 lengths in 2965 at Youghal just the other day.
DEELISH HONEY – this May 2024 bitch by Deerjet Sydney out of Deelish Belle who won in open class at Romford and counts the likes of Da Bold Freddie a super competition class performer over both four and six bends as well as Deelish Frankie a memorable winner of the Premier Greyhound Racing Puppy Derby around sales venue Monmore back in 2022 amongst her litter mates. Eye-catching breeding and again a super track prospect with blood lines that indicate more than a chance of becoming a successful brood in her own right. Beaten 5 lengths by Deelish Lola (see above) in her sole trial.
TOMMYS EMILY – totally unexposed September 2024 bitch by Iconic Rory out of the super strong running producer of open class types Global Volcano. A winner over 712m in open class at Towcester and then competing in the final of the prestigious Shelbourne Park marathon in 2021 Global Volcano was a bitch who stayed forever and given her bloodlines being a daughter of Volcano that super staying strength comes as absolutely no surprise. Global Volcano is now a proven producer of open class counting the likes of Skyfall Mini winner of the ARC Maiden 480 Trophy and Onlyinthejockey winner of a 640m maiden stayers at Newcastle amongst her offspring. A great opportunity to purchase a well reared and schooled bitch pup with a totally clean slate from which to work and with every chance of making into a brood of the future. Staying will be no trouble and likely to progress quickly through the grades over four bends and when stepped up in distance falls firmly into the ‘could be anything’ category.
TOMMYS NIFTY – full sister to Emily detailed above and similarly not a mark on her card. Not much between this pair during their early schooling trials and another hugely promising sort with super staying potential.
BALLINABOLA MONA – January 2024 daughter of Ballinabola Ed out of Piercestown Law who was a regular top grade winner on the track and a half sister to Piercestown Dove who reached the final of the Golden Jacket at Crayford back in 2022. A five time race winner in Ireland with some super runs under her belt already including 2896 around Enniscorthy just last month. Ready made sort who will be competing in high grade at a minimum here in the UK.
BALLINABOLA NICO – February 2024 son of Glengar Bale out of Dolls Lady the dam of amongst many other star performers Ballinabola Ed one of the most popular greyhounds in recent years. Nico is a wide runner who will pay his way in the mid to higher grades and ran out a good winner around Enniscorthy on his penultimate start in 2951.
PAPER OVER CRACK – not a single mark on the card of this August 2024 daughter of Ballymac Cashout and Maytown Bard who raced just the three times but proved herself a classy lady with a super 2868 victory around Shelbourne Park. A half sister to amongst many other classy sorts Anniversary Girl the 2021 Oaks Finalist the breeding is there for all to see and with offspring from the first two litters of Maytown Bard already well proven in top grade and open class there is every reason to believe that this is a pup with a very bright future. Reared and schooled by the famed McCusker team Paper Over Crack has been given the very best start to life and will arrive with her new connections fit and ready to get straight into work here in the UK.
STILL PLANNING – another super unraced prospect from the McCusker team this August 2024 son of Ballymac Cashout and Das Eadaoin has been showcasing plenty of promise during his rearing and early schooling trials and with his dam already a proven producer of open class counting the likes of Surprise Reunion (2841 Shelbourne Park) amongst her offspring there is every chance this youngster will be landing some very nice races here in the UK.
LEG IT – March 2024 daughter of Good Cody out of Dolce Vita the proven competition class producing dam who hails from the famed Toms Delight dam line. Dolce Vita is responsible for the likes of Table Toppers, Antigua Sugar and Bubble Charger to name just a few. Leg It has made the perfect start to her blossoming career winning both of her races to date over the 400 yard trip at Dundalk. Staying further will be no issue at all and this young lady looks all set to make her mark here in the UK in very good class and with her breeding holds every chance of producing quality performers of her own in the future. Bred and reared by the famed Brendan Matthews team in Newry this lady holds much appeal.
DEBUT DELIGHT – Full brother to Leg It who posted a super 2136 around Dundalk when winning on just his second career start in September. This youngster will be making his mark in decent races here in the UK and will have no trouble staying much further than that 400 yard trip. A wide running sort he should find the likes of sales venue Monmore very much to his liking. New connections will be confident in the start to life this greyhound has been given having been reared and schooled to perfection by Brendan Matthews and his shrewd Newry based team.
FLASHING STYLE – Not a mark on the card of this September 2024 daughter of Newinn Taylor out of Global Prima (full sister to Coolavanny Auntie) who herself was a UK and Ireland open race winner and a finalist in both the 2022 Englsh Oaks and 2022 Champion Bitches Stake. Prima is a daughter of Yahoo Katie meaning she hails from the esteemed Yahoo Perlena dam line. Flashing Style is a member of Prima’s maiden litter and reports have very much been positive during rearing and schooling. ‘Could be anything’ but every reason to believe this young lady has a very bright future here in the UK both on the track and in the breeding paddocks later in life.
BALLINABOLA ORLA – February 2024 daughter of Glengar Bale out of Dolls Lady the dam of the sensational Ballinabola Ed. Orla has just the three races under her belt and is already a super winner around Enniscorthy in 2933. Likely to land her new connections a nice early touch where her super early pace will prove very useful indeed.
STILL MOMENT (EX – JETSTREAMFIREFLY) – April 2023 bitch who is a very strong runner and surprisingly hasn’t yet got off the mark. Likely to find a fresh start to her career here in the UK beneficial and likely to appreciate stiff four and six bend trips at a graded level. Will more than pay her way and likely has plenty more in the locker for her new connections.
RAPIDO DINNY – Not a mark on the card of this July 2024 son of Deerjet Sydney out of Scooter who is a daughter of the competition class producing dam Allen Harbour and has herself been producing open class sorts off her own in recent times. Dinny has been pleasing her shrewd team back home with a number of eye catching schooling trials and he looks all set to prove a very useful acquisition to his new connections.
HAWKFIELD BIONIC – Unraced May 2024 daughter of Good News out of Brownstown Tango a super open class lady who had the pace to record some sensational times including a magnificent 2809 around the sports Irish HQ Shelbourne Park. That kind of pace and ability has been more than passed onto her offspring with Tango hugely well proven as the dam of many open and competition class performers including but certainly not limited to the likes of Hawksfield Ozark winner of the Bar One Sprint Cup in 2022 and The Laurels around Perry Barr in 2023. A bitch who will be in equal demand for both her undoubted track potential and her brood possibilities further down the line.
ATOUCHOFMAGIC – This September 2023 son of Ballymac Cashout and Burgess Sarah is a proven top grade performer who got life off to the best possible start earlier this year with a simply sensational victory around Limerick in 2843. He is a full brother to Magical On Fire, who won the Irish Laurels at the weekend. A little unlucky in running on a few occasions since he has still posted some eye catching clocks including 2873 and 2869 around Shelbourne Park. The pace is without doubt there and with just a little bit of confidence boosting this lad could very well more than be holding his own in top open and competition class company.
STONEPARK SPARK – Unraced June 2024 son of Coolavanny Hoffa out of Stonepark Molly an open class daughter of the competition class producing brood Adamant Gem. This is Molly’s maiden litter but reports have been promising with a big sales day run anticipated especially after her first official trial when recording 2928 at Cork on 7th November.
STONEPARK DELTA – Full brother to Spark and a competitive trial anticipated. Really nice pair who would make great additions to any kennel looking to acquire a pair of nicely bred young brothers. Delta recorded 2943 on his only outing at Cork also on 7th November.
GOOD LUNA – Unraced July 2024 daughter of Signet Ace and Deelish Oreo whose maiden litter to Good Cody included the likes of Lennies Tank who already has a sensational 2068 to his name around Dundalk. Bred and reared by the Kennedy team Luna’s new connections can be assured of a pup of extreme promise who has been given the very best start to life.
GOOD BOBCAT – Unraced April 2024 son of Good Cody out of Portumna Marina who initially appeared at the Doncaster sale and though winning his trial in 2837 failed to meet his reserve and was taken back home to Ireland. Has since recorded 2969 at Kilkenny. Nicely bred sort who looks sure to be winning plenty here in the UK.
MISS THE BEAT – Totally unexposed August 2024 daughter of Ballymac Best out of Ballymac Beanie the super Irish Oaks Champion of 2020 who has well proven herself as a producer of top open and competition class performers. Rearing and schooling reports have been extremely favourable and this bitch looks likely to generate plenty of sales day interest if the jungle drums are to be believed. Word from those in the know back home is that this bitch is a competition class young lady of the highest calibre. One to watch and will no doubt be very much sought after by all those keen to add a high class bitch pup to their kennels for the months and years ahead.
NERVOUS NORRIS – Unraced August 2024 daughter of Signet Ace out of Ballymac Orna the 2021 Limerick Oaks Finalist who has proven herself as a dam of great quality counting the likes of Deelish Nora winner of opens at many tracks here in the UK and Ireland and runner up in the Puppy Oaks of 2023 at Towcester and a finalist in the Cork Oaks earlier this year. Norris is a stunning dark brindle lady whose potential is clear to see.
SPORTING SIMBA – Unraced June 2024 prospect from the famed Jerry Griffin ‘Sporting Kennels’. Breeding and rearing that comes with the hallmark of ‘quality’ stamped all over it this son of King Sheeran out of Sporting Riviera a high class lady on the track who has gone on to produce open and competition class in each of her litters to date. Simba has been showcasing all the right signs to his shrewd handler for many months and though his services will not be coming cheaply it’s very rare that potential such as this ever does. Though he ran out a wide margin winner of the only trial on his card in 2955 at Tralee it’s fair to say that even this decent run was fully expected to be bettered significantly. His trial companion took his ground the minute the traps opened hampering him significantly and trial watchers were left commenting that it would be no surprise to have otherwise seen Simba hitting the 29 second barrier. If Simba is on your list of possible buys you’re sure to face fierce competition in the ring but he very much looks likely to reward his new owners once hitting the track.
SPORTING MOANA – Full sister to Simba detailed above Moana has just the sole trial currently on her card in which she posted a promising 2966 around Tralee. This lady has shown the team at Jerry Griffin’s ‘Sporting kennels’ a very likeable attitude throughout her rearing and schooling trials and looks sure to prove a very useful addition to her new owners team come the end of sales day at Monmore.
TOO SPICY – October 2023 son of Magical Bale out of Three Canons an open class bitch who finished runner up in the final of the RPGTV Puppy Oaks at Shelbourne Park in 2022 whilst also competing in the Juvenile Derby Final earlier that year. Litter brother Hows That is already an open class winner around Shelbourne Park and here in the UK at Swindon and whilst Too Spicy is yet to get off the mark in three career races to date he impressed on 7th November with a 2885 trial at Cork, marking him out as an above average sort. Plenty left in the locker for his new connections.
NOT A LOT – a May 2024 daughter of Iconic Rory out of Tibet a competition class lady who competed in the final of the Irish Oaks at Shelbourne Park in 2018. Since retiring from the track Tibet has proven herself a top class brood counting the likes of 2021 English Puppy Derby Champion Make Noise amongst her offspring. Not A Lot pleased with her first trial on 7th November when stopping the clock at 2924 in Cork. One for the track and the breeding paddocks with all the hard work already complete for her new owners.
ECONOMICALREASON – A super unraced prospect from the home of the ‘Newry Maestro’ Brendan Matthews. Not a mark on this August 2024 lady’s card but make no mistake about it this daughter of Signet Ace and Press Unlock can run. Showcasing super early gears throughout her rearing and during recent schooling trials she should find the challenge provided by the likes of sales venue Monmore right up her street and though she might find her trial rival slightly too tough to handle at this stage her future is very bright indeed. Press Unlock is a daughter of the super brood Unlock Unlock and a full sister to the likes of Undulation the 2024 Easter Cup Finalist and Up The Style the 2022 I.G.O.B.F National Puppy 525 Champion. Top class track and brood prospect.
DEFINITELY GONE – Had originally been pencilled in for the Oxford sale but time was against him on that occasion however he now arrives at Monmore ready to showcase his serious potential. Posted 2905 around Shelbourne in what is thus far the only four bend trial on his card but this May 2024 son of Dromana Bucko and Unbeatable who is a super open class daughter of Unlock Unlock has posted a time some way underneath the 29 second barrier since then in an ‘unofficial’ at the same venue. Check out the excellent @TownviewKennels X feed for further information but make no mistake this is a competition class prospect with a huge future ahead of him here in the UK. The Brendan Matthews team recognise a quality performer when they see one having been responsible for many to hit the UK shores in recent years both through the sales and private sales and they firmly believe Definitely Gone is heading for a career at the top of the sport.
DROOPYS TYPICAL – Unraced August 2024 daughter of Droopys Got It and Blueberry Bullet the 2022 St Leger Champion. Staying will likely be this ladies game in time and a very interesting entry to the Monmore sales catalogue.
DROOPYS JOT – Unraced July 2024 daughter of the mighty Pestana out of Droopys Onestop the 2024 Cork Oaks Champion. Quality breeding like this is a hugely attractive proposition for all those keen on adding a well bred , well reared youngster to their kennels whose track potential is matched equally by her brood prospects in future years.
STONEY BONO – Not a mark on the card of this July 2024 son of Iconic Rory and Newinn Melody who is a full sister to 2020 Irish Derby Champion Newinn Taylor and now well proven in the breeding paddocks with many top grade and open class sorts on her CV. Bono looks sure to be making his mark here in the UK quickly and looks sure to progress smoothly through the grades.
TOMMYS PONCHO – Unraced March 2024 son of Grangeview Ten out of Wise Eruption the strong running open class daughter of Volcano. Breeding is there for all to see this youngster is bred to stay so whatever he does on sales day is sure to be improved upon once age and experience allows him to step up to the distances his bloodlines suggest he should stay with ease.
BLESSED STAR – Very highly thought of young bitch by Ballyhimkin Jet out of Good Diva. Was slightly held back in her work by the Kennedy team due to a small kennel cough and therefore missed the last sale at Oxford but that patience is expected to be rewarded as this July 2024 lady is fully expected to be making her mark on the open scene before too long. Big run at Monmore expected on sales day.
GOOD ACCLAIM – Highly promising unraced April 2024 dog from the mating between Good Cody and Portumna Marina who has trials of 2965 and 1647 on the card at Kilkenny. Nice sort who is very much heading the right way.
SOBER GEMSTONE – January 2024 fawn bitch who has just the two races on her card and ran out a winner of her last race around Cork in a super 2887. Pulling further clear with each passing stride this stunning fawn lady will have no trouble seeing out four bends and could very well make into a real nice sort around the likes of sale venue Monmore. A daughter of the sensational Skywalker Barry out of the open class producing dam Sober Pearl.
KILLIMOR CANYA – Strapping 72lb coursing bred bitch by Boylesports Magic out of Killimor Rayna. Just the sole trial on her card where she posted 3038 around Cork. Totally unexposed and will more than pay her way in graded sprints and the sharper four bend courses and with all the hard work of rearing and schooling complete she could very well turn out to be one of the bargain buys of the day.
WITHOUT DELAY – Unraced August 2024 lady from the litter of Ballymac Cashout and Das Eadaoin who has already produced a 2841 winner around Shelbourne Park in the shape of Surprise Reunion. Super potential from a young bitch who has been pleasing her current team for many months now.
SUNDANCE GIRL – Not a mark on the card of this August 2024 daughter of Ballymac Cashout and Maytown Bard making her a full sister to Paper Over Crack who appears earlier on the sales catalogue. Hailing from the McCusker team her new owners will be assured of an extremely well reared and rounded individual with her whole career ahead of her.
GREEN ROAD – Fabulously bred unraced daughter of Droopys Sydney and Comets Allegro who was a strong running open class sort who hails from the famed Allen Harbour dam line. Closely related to the likes of super bitch Susie Sapphire the 2021 Irish Greyhound Derby Champion amongst many other stars this young lady will be of as much interest for her breeding potential as her immediate track career. One of the best bred greyhounds entered for the Monmore sale that much is for certain and is sure to attract huge interest.
RAPIDO JUDY – Unraced May 2024 daughter of Dorotas Wildcat and Spooks Me making her a full sister to the exciting Rapido Benny who posted 2686 at the recent Oxford sale and making a top lot of the day £12,200 in the subsequent auction. Benny has since been trialling at Hove and only last Monday posted 2955 on just his second four bend trial at the track. Judy has serious potential both on the track herself but as a brood of notable interest in the future.
NEWINN REX – a precocious September 24 son of Swords Rex by Glenegat Mildred who has been moving well up the gallop and the schooling track. The dam produced the 2024 Monmore Puppy Derby winner Untold Dollar and can she produce another here? Will be definitely one to watch at the sales.
NEWINN TOMMY – a blue June 24 son of Australian sire Tommy Shelby by Galadriel. Not a mark on his card. Dam is a full sister to Jackslittlething and Swords Maestro. Has been reported to have pleased connections at home.
DROOPYS PAULINA – Hugely promising sort from the Droopys team this unraced August 2024 daughter of Droopys Got It and Droopys Gong is fully expected to make into open class of that there is little doubt. Big run expected come sales day but with the foot note that as with all pups heading over from Team Droopys there is plenty left in the locker for new connections.
DROOPYS INDEX – Unraced July 2024 son of Droopys Got It out of Droopys Sweet who is a well proven producer of open and competition class performers counting the likes of Droopys Plunge the 2025 English Greyhound Derby Champion amongst her offspring. Quality breeding that will surely catch many prospective buyers attention.
IDEAL GUEST – A full sister to Nervous Norris who appears earlier in the sales catalogue so similarly a daughter of Signet Ace and Ballymac Orna the 2021 Limerick Oaks Finalist who has proven herself as a dam of great quality counting the likes of Deelish Nora winner of opens at many tracks here in the UK and Ireland and runner up in the Puppy Oaks of 2023 at Towcester and a finalist in the Cork Oaks earlier this year. Guest has been showing plenty of promise at home and is a very interesting entry to the Monmore sale.
WHYAYE DUBAI – Unraced August 2024 son of Dromana Bucko out of Droopys Dot an open class lady whose maiden litter to Droopys Sydney contained open class offspring including Jacktavern Lab who has recently been winning 640m opens up at Newcastle. Not a mark on the card of this stunning fawn youngster but his schooling trials have been eye catching and given that he might not be seen at his best for quite some time to come he must rate as a very interesting proposition to many.
DA DON (EX – DROOPYS TAG) – Lightly raced November 2023 son of Droopys Sydney out of UK open race star Queen Lilly who is now well proven in the breeding paddocks counting the likes of Untold Rufiyaa the 2024 I.G.O.B.F National Puppy Stake Champion amongst her offspring. Da Don is already a race winner in a super 1892 at Shelbourne Park but previously had an even better 1744 at Cork to his name in a trial. Four bend runs since have been full of promise with a best to date of 2904 on the card at Kilkenny however there is no doubt there is better to come over that distance. Nice type whose experience should see him getting off the mark for his new connections in the not too distant future at all.
CLONBRIEN KING – Unraced November 2023 son of Ballymac Cashout and Clonbrien Millie a half sister to Graham Holland’s star performer Clonbrien Prince. King has been showing plenty of promise in his trials to date including a super 2867 effort around Limerick in his latest outing. Looks ready made to land a nice touch for new connections here in the UK before going on to bigger and better things on the open scene. King is a half brother to St Leger winner Clonbrien Treaty and his sister was recently sold for €10,000.
SLIPPY CONOR – Unraced March 2024 son of King Elvis out of Slippy Dancer who hails from the Cabra Dancer dam line. Slippy Dancer has been producing high grade and open class sorts in her litters thus far and Conor posted a decent 2956 around Tralee in what is so far the only four bend trial on his card. Could be anything and his sales day trial will provide further evidence of his potential.
SLIPPY CHRIS – Full brother to Conor and had showed promise in his qualifying trials including when posting 2916 around Tralee in the first four bend trial of his life. Had absolutely no chance in the only race so far on his card when beaten a long way behind Droopys Graph who simply routed the opposition posting 2806 at Cork. Graph looks one of the most promising youngsters seen in Ireland this year so that line of form can safely be ignored with much better to come that much is for certain.
